Two blogs on the same site (so you can skip politics)

The blog posts under this site are divided into two separate blogs: The “official” Sovereign Landing blog, and the High Future Preference blog. The main reason for this division is that the latter needs to sometimes touch on the “dirty topic” of politics.

The problems caused by these allegedly “different” political systems are the same in basically every western country. We can’t let ourselves be tricked into wasting any energy on fights over the color of the wigs the clowns wear – we need to fix things outside the political circus arenas.

While those discussions are extremely important, they can also be a bit heavy in a business blog, hence the separation. The official Sovereign Landing blog focuses on actionable information, allowing you to skip the politics and focus on how you can just improve your own life.

Why not just completely rule politics out of this business site?

It is a good question. It comes down to the potential customers, and what I suspect is a big problem for many of them – a problem that they may only be partially aware of, if they are aware of it at all.

Nothing on this site is about the “red team(s) vs. blue team(s)” mud-slinging competition that the TV pushes to you 24/7, but rather how politics is affecting our societies, and how to move away from the political paradigm altogether. You definitely won’t find whining about who is (or who should be) in power in country X or Y.

I’m trying my best to ignore those kinds of surface-level politics altogether. I also want to make sense of the world, and unfortunately the politically minded people have taken it over almost completely.

Therefore not touching that topic at all is not realistically possible if we are to discuss basically any aspect of our societies.

These discussions need to be had because I suspect that many of the potential customers are only seeing the negative aspects of this reality without necessarily understanding why their life in the legacy countries is in such a steep decline.

This lack of understanding may also be a factor in keeping them stuck in those situations, desperately hoping for a better tomorrow that won’t come unless they act.

I don’t experience that sad reality on a personal level. That’s because I understand what’s going on, and have acted accordingly for years.

Saifedean Ammous said it best (paraphrasing a little here):

The fiat reality is like a horror movie. When you opt out, it is like the difference of watching the movie versus being in it.

I’m only in it as much as is unavoidable, and that’s very little.

If you don’t understand the root (politics and money printing) of these problems, you also can’t act accordingly. You might do what most people are doing and wait for the politicians to fix things for you.

They won’t, because they can’t.

While the problems are caused by politics, it doesn’t mean that the solutions to those problems would be in the hands of the politicians. The situation has escalated beyond their ability to control it years, perhaps decades ago.

When you understand this, you can start to act accordingly, and save at least yourself and your family. If you do so early enough, you may develop the strength to also help others. This is why these discussions are so fundamentally important, and absolutely do belong on this site.

The "how"

This is mostly actionable information aimed directly at the customers – what you’d expect to find in a blog of a business. I’m trying my best to save you from politics there 😉

High Future Preference

The "why"

Here I’m pushing my limits to help sharpen my own thinking. I may have to touch on politics here, but this is not a politics blog – the focus is on how we move away from politics.

There’s a “how” and “why”, but what’s the “what”?

The common theme for both of these blogs is to show you how you can choose liberty on a personal level and focus on positive productivity.

It is perfectly possible to do that by just focusing on the “how” tactics in the official blog. At the same time our focus should be on building positive alternatives for the current system. It is completely unsustainable, and reliance on it can’t end well. While insulating yourself from it is important, it’s not a sufficient long-term strategy. Focusing only individual-level solutions would essentially be aiming for oligarchy, and we need to do better – hence the “why” of High Future Preference.
